There’re three effective ways to
learn vocabulary for different learners. Firstly, visual learners need
pictures, so they should make flashcards with pictures. If they often review
these flashcards, they can remember the words easily. There’re a lot of
flashcard applications for IOS and Android. They can be used for making
flashcards. Using flashcard applications on smartphones is practical for them.
Additionally, visual learners can use visual dictionaries because they have a
visual memory. Secondly, auditory learners should use dictionary websites and
listen to the pronunciation of the words. When they listen to these words, they
can remember the words because of different rhythms. In addition, people who
like listening to music should listen to English music and follow the lyrics as
tunes of music help auditory learners to learn new English words. Finally,
kinesthetic learners have to use English words in their life. For example, they
should think relevant words while they’re doing something. Additionally, they
can play games or try vocabulary quizzes because they learn by doing.
To sum up, there
are different effective ways to improve vocabulary knowledge for three types of
learners. People who want to improve their vocabulary knowledge can use these
